We all have to start somewhere

Why was this blog created? The question should be "why not"? Blog creations are so easy and free these days that anyone can create a blog for fun, joy, or laughter.

We all have to start somewhere

This post was meant to be a Hello World sort of post, but that felt a bit too cliche. I may be a (software) developer, but even I can get sick of that. Instead here are some specs for the blog.

Why was this blog created? The question should be "why not"? Blog creations are so easy and free these days that anyone can create a blog for fun, joy, or laughter.

Who?

A Software Engineer, born and raised in Singapore, lived in Tokyo, and currently living and working in San Francisco.

What?

I primarily want to focus on  cultural differences within the realm of technology between the places I've been to. Every now and then I'll throw in an article about food or my life in general.

Most, if not all of these articles are opinion pieces and should not be used to back any arguments.

Where?

On a server farm somewhere in Singapore.

If you meant the human, San Francisco. Did you not read the above paragraph?

How?

  • Hosted on Digital Ocean

Why?

I have been writing a tech focused blog for a while, but so far I've kept many of my stronger opinions to myself. Reason being that they were meant to be somewhat technical focused. But humans have opinions and I would like to express them somewhere. This is my outlet.

Warning

This blog will contain opinions that you as a reader may not agree with. If you are easily offended that other humans have differing opinions from you and said opinions cause you to question your beliefs, please do not read this blog.

If you still read it anyway and then feel the strong urge to lash out with personal insults, please do so via the comments section where we can have nice civil discourse. Who am I kidding? This is the internet, there is no civility in this realm.
